My Best Holidays

 I think the best vacations of my life were in the summer of 2020. I felt so trapped in Santiago that having the opportunity to go out was something wonderful and incredible. I went for two weeks to see one of my best friends in Talca, since as a result of the pandemic she went to live in the south. Talca is very big and if you go a bit away from the city you can find a lot of nature;farm animals, wild animals and many beautiful plants.

I went with another friend and we did many things; We cooked, bathed in the river, hiked and helped in the garden of my best friend's father. I think it was the best vacation since it was very spontaneous and simple. Also, southern Chile is very beautiful and relaxing. Nothing compares to spending time with friends around the fire and being among the trees.


I hope I can repeat those vacations and see my friends as soon as possible, since I miss them so much.

My Pets

  For as long as I can remember my family has had cats, we have also had a dog once, but she escaped. At the moment I live with three cats: Lucero, Frodo and Saphira.  Lucero is the oldest and smallest one. She’s 12 years old and I have had her since I was in fourth grade. She’s my best friend, we sleep together and she’s always by my side in classes and when I study. My Family

If we start with my house, we are a family of four, my sister, my grandparents and I (and cats and dogs). But actually, my close family is larger, my aunt, my uncle and two cousins ​​ (and their cats and dog) live no more than five houses away.  We have always come together to celebrate even the smallest things, birthdays, good morning from work, university or college, holidays and any good news in general.  I see my uncle and aunt almost every day and I try to eat with them at least twice a week, my aunt comes to see my grandparents every day so we usually eat a lot together, in addition to all the little celebrations. We love spending time with the family, eating together and enjoying our company.  Living together is good because whenever there is an emergency there is always someone who can help, and I really appreciate that. Changes to my study program

In terms of the curriculum, I wouldn’t change any of the classes I have had right now. I’m on second year of social work so I can only talk about the classes I’ve already had. All the classes I had till now vary a lot from subject and are connected to the other careers in the faculty, so my learning is more integral and multidisciplinary. I would change the workload we have; now we must read approximately 300-400 pages per-week among going to class and writing assays. I understand that al the readings given to us are necessary, but some weeks there’s not enough time for everything. In terms of the infrastructure of our faculty, I can propose changes as i never went to university physically because of the pandemic. I didn’t even go to the welcome for new student event at the beginning of my first year.
